Copyright & DMCA Policy

How to send a copyright notice or counter-notice for AI Rap Video, what happens after a notice, and our repeat-infringer policy.

Last updated: 2026-10-24

This policy explains how we handle copyright complaints about material uploaded to or generated with AI Rap Video. It applies to everything on the service: uploaded photos, uploaded audio and video, generated videos, lyrics and music takes, and anything published from a share link.

Your uploads and your rights

You may only upload material you own or are licensed to use — photos, videos, audio tracks and any background music, including the sound recording and the underlying composition and lyrics. By uploading you accept the

Terms of Service and the Acceptable Use Policy, including that warranty and the indemnity that comes with it. That acceptance is recorded once, at sign-up, with its version and time.

Where to send a notice

Send copyright notices and counter-notices to dmca@airapvideo.net. We accept notices by email; include the elements listed below so we can act on the notice without further correspondence.

How to send a notice

A notice must be in writing and should contain the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act for them.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed — for a recording, name the track and the artist; for a composition, name the song and the writers.
  3. Identification of the material you say is infringing, with enough detail for us to find it: the share link, the video URL or the task identifier.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Incomplete notices may be returned so they can be completed. You can also send the same information through the report page by choosing “Copyright, character or music”.

What we do when we receive a notice

  1. We remove or disable access to the identified material promptly.
  2. We notify the account holder that material was removed, and give them a copy of the notice so they can respond.
  3. We record the notice against the account for the repeat-infringer policy below.
  4. We keep a record of the notice, the removal and the response.

Removing material under this policy does not decide who is right. It is a procedure for taking disputed material down while the parties resolve the dispute.

What a valid notice disables

When we accept a notice, the work is disabled rather than deleted: the share link stops working, so the video and any other file from the same task can no longer be viewed publicly, and the account holder can no longer play or download it either — it shows in their library as removed after a copyright notice, without a playable file. We keep the file itself so that a counter-notice can restore it; nothing is deleted automatically. Each valid notice that is not withdrawn or shown to be mistaken adds one strike to the account that uploaded the work. At 3 active strikes (a strike stays active for 12 months) the account is suspended pending review and may be terminated. A restore after a counter-notice waits 10 business days from the date we record the counter-notice, and reversing the notice also removes its strike.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to

dmca@airapvideo.net containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before it was removed.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district where your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice or their agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material after 10 to 14 business days, unless the original claimant tells us they have filed a court action seeking an order to keep the material down.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, incurred by the account holder, the copyright owner or us. Please check that you have the rights you claim before you send a notice or a counter-notice.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive repeated valid copyright notices are terminated, and material uploaded by a terminated account is removed. Our default threshold is 3 valid notices within 12 months; we count notices that were not withdrawn and were not shown to be mistaken. Terminating an account does not restore credits or refund a payment, and the

Refund Policy explains when a refund is available.

Music generated by the service

Rap videos made here use original AI music: new lyrics, melody, vocals and beat, generated for the request. We do not add a copyrighted song, a commercial instrumental or third-party background music, and we do not clone or imitate a named singer. A reference video is used for motion and framing only — the video model only needs a motion reference, so the original soundtrack is removed before generation. If a user adds their own soundtrack back to a finished video, that copy is for their own download only: it is not shown in our sample wall, public pages or recommendations, and we do not distribute it.
